PUC Administration Building | 525 Golden Gate Avenue
San Francisco, CA

This 13-story building provides 265,000 square feet of office space and one level of below-grade parking. Extensive utilization of sustainable design features has won this building a LEED Platinum Rating by the U.S. Green Building Council. The structural system consists of post-tensioned slab/beam floors and post-tensioned concrete shear walls. The foundation system is comprised of a five-foot thick concrete mat and micropiles. SOHA also performed the shoring and underpinning design for this project.
