The new cruise ship terminal includes demolition of the existing Pier 27 maritime shed which opens up the site for construction of an approximately 88,000 square foot, two-level new cruise terminal facility and the Northeast Wharf Plaza. The proposed size of the terminal was defined as optimal to serve current and anticipated ship berthing requirements and associated passenger flows.
